When TOSKA was finished a gasworks was bulit southeast of the sheds at a safe distance (600 yards).
To match the Zeppelins need for hydrogen the gasworks could produce 8000 m3 of hydrogen per 24 hours.
Storage tanks with a combined capacity of 56.000 m3 were constructed on the the surface and underground.
The hydrogen was delievered to the airships using a pipeline to each airship shed. The base was furthermore equipped with a railroad system, which could deliver hydrogen on special wagons from gasworks outside the Base.
The gasworks building is today still completely intact - almost 80 years after it was built.
