The museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays between 10 pm and 3 pm from May until October.

Zeppelin L 3’s historie
When L 3 force-landed on the Danish island Fanoe in 1915 it was in a vain attempt to reach the base in Tønder.
The airship itself never made it to Tønder. Ironically the force-landing on neutral territory was also the reason why its propellers were preserved, and today one of them is exhibited – in Tønder.
